Value given back is the total since we began, measured as market value less payment received, across free seedlings and growing guidance for schools, free and subsidised garden access for neurodivergent children, and subsidised gardening for seniors and people with disability.
The Corner Garden is a Social Traders certified social enterprise. This means that I create value for our community, not just the bottom line. This page tracks the outputs, outcomes, and eventually, impact, of our work in delivering on our social mission to grow gardens that grow community: how I’m doing that through seedlings, in schools, in gardens and in hours given to people who need them.
What makes a seedling pollinator friendly
I select cultivars that are known to attract pollinators, and that have accessible pollen and nectar. My seedling list is curated from personal growing experience, attracting native pollinators to The Corner Garden.
