This service works through your dreams, challenges, and your garden’s unique combination of soil, light, microclimate and history to recommend a design, plant selection and seasonal plan. Your garden design will be underpinned by sustainable and resilient practices. At the end, you get a design with a planting plan, a plant schedule with quantities and pot sizes, and the notes you need to establish it well. Following this, we can discuss plant procurement and installation options. The first step is to book in a free consult so I can develop a fixed price quote for your garden design.

Healthy soil is where a garden starts. This service assesses your soil for structure and penetration resistance, pH, nutrients and soil life, to build an accurate picture of your soil health before you plant anything. You’ll receive a findings report and a recommended rehabilitation programme to meet your goals.
And a stated confidence level against each result.
Physical site remediation is available as a follow-up service. The first step is to book in a free consult so I can develop a fixed price quote for your assessment.
Dig In
Build confidence in the garden with a dedicated session covering whatever you need to learn: pruning, plant selection, soil health, seasonal maintenance, pesticide-free solutions, climate-resilient approaches. Hands-on and practical, with active demonstrations so you can do it yourself when I leave. Children are welcome in these sessions.

Let me do the hard work to get your garden happy, healthy and beautiful. Maintenance covers everything from mowing and weeding to pruning roses and caring for specialty plants and soil. This service is 100% pesticide-free. As I get to know your garden, I’ll give you practical advice on long-term, sustainable solutions to whatever challenges you’re facing.

Choose a service, pick a time. Payment is taken at booking, so there’s no extra admin for you. Initial consultations (20 mins) are free.
Confirmation email
You’ll receive a confirmation email, and a reminder email 48 hours before your booking.
We meet in your garden
I get a proper look at your space and we talk through your challenges and goals. If you’ve booked The Works, I get stuck in, otherwise the consultations or learning sessions will kick off.
Written follow-up
In Your Corner consultation and Groundwork soil assessment include a written report within the fortnight. Maintenance clients book their next session online, or we can arrange recurring bookings.

Do I need to start with the free consult?
If you want an In Your Corner garden design or Groundwork soil health assessment, yes. After this free consult I will develop a fixed price quote for the service you’re after. If you want The Works garden maintenance or a Dig In learning session, and know what you want done in those sessions, book them in directly. If not, book in the free consult so we can talk through what makes sense for your garden before committing.

Do I need to be home during maintenance?
For the first session, yes, it helps to walk the garden together. After that it’s up to you. Many clients leave access and a list of priority tasks, and I get on with it.
