Site visit to identify opportunities for gardening project to integrate into Term 3 Biological Sciences in the STEAM class
June
FCPS confirmed approach for student-led plant selection.
July
Developed FCPS Plant Library and Growing Gardeners curriculum adapted for Foundation to Year 6, aligning with the Victorian Curriculum F-10 Version 2.0.
July
Year 1 and 2 students voted on their favourit plants from the Plant Library provided by The Corner Garden.
August
Students' plant selection were sown with a class representative and grown indoors for the first three weeks.
September
Francesca planted out 42 seedlings with the year 2 class and 72 seedlings with the year 1 class, and supported them to give the plants a feed to help with transplantation shock.
