This spring has felt like a bit of a rollercoaster, with the an abundance of ranunculus, anemones, freesias and daffodils but only for a few early spring weeks, and then a lull while other flowers are still warming up. Yeah, they don’t love that, thanks Melbourne.
Here is a wrap up of the early spring superstars: daffodils, ranunculus, anemones and freesias. All bulbs and corms were planted in April 2026, with harvests starting from late August into early spring.
