Already pinched for bushier growth and more flowers, this one puts on soft, scented light blue blooms that just keep coming. Give it a trellis or fence and it'll climb readily, rewarding you with scent the whole way up. If you're training it up a smooth pole, wrap some twine around it at intervals so the tendrils have something to grip. Full sun, rich well-drained soil, regular water, climbing to 1.8-2.5m. Sweet pea seeds can be slow and patchy to germinate, so the pinching and the head start are already done for you.
